Covenant Theological Academy (COTAC) serves as the theological and ministerial training arm of Our Lord the Saviour Covenant Church, equipping students with both academic depth and practical ministerial skills. The Diploma in Theology and Pastoral Studies (DTPS) is a four-semester program designed to provide rigorous training in biblical, doctrinal, historical, and pastoral studies, preparing students for effective ministry and further academic pursuits.

By integrating theological education with real-world applications, students develop the capacity to engage with contemporary social, ethical, and spiritual issues.
The DTPS program fosters theological reflection on ministerial practice, offering full-time, part-time, online, and offline study options. This flexibility allows students to pursue their theological education while balancing personal, professional, and ministerial responsibilities
Beyond preparing aspiring pastors, Covenant Theological Academy is exploring affiliations with tertiary institutions to facilitate direct admission and further studies in Theology, Religious Studies, and related disciplines. This provides graduates with opportunities for academic advancement while deepening their theological expertise.
The DTPS program runs for four semesters and includes coursework in biblical studies, systematic theology, church history, pastoral ministry, and ethics.
Assessment includes examinations and extended essays, ensuring students develop both critical theological insight and practical ministerial competence.
